Level 2: Intermediate

The Focused Walkthrough

The Problem: Sharing your whole desktop shows your messy bookmarks, tabs, and notifications. Pointing at tiny text with your mouse is hard for viewers to follow.

The Solution: Use Focus Crop to surgically share only the relevant part of the screen, keeping your presentation completely professional.

Step 1: In Studio Mode

Start with a Script

In Creation Mode, quickly type a short introduction for the document you want to present.

Step 2: In Studio Mode

Share the Messy Screen

Click "Share Screen" and pick an entire screen or a cluttered window.

Step 3: In Studio Mode

The Surgical Crop

Click the Crop icon in the bottom bar. Your screen will dim. Click and drag to draw a box around just the clean, relevant part of the window.

Step 4: In Presenter Mode

Enter the Stage

Click "Presenter" at the top. Notice how the messy bookmarks and toolbars are gone, and only your cropped area is visible!

Step 5: In Presenter Mode

Bring up the Teleprompter

Click the Script icon. Your script now overlays the cropped screen, ready to read.

Step 6: In Presenter Mode

Pace Yourself

Look for the floating Speed Control on the right. Press Play to start the teleprompter, and use the / buttons to set your perfect reading speed.

Step 7: In Presenter Mode

Record a Clean Take

Hit Space (or press Record). A 3-2-1 countdown gives you a beat to settle in. Read your script naturally while your audience only sees the perfectly cropped document. Backspace stops and saves; Shift+Backspace discards for a retake.
